E-Waste Is Regulated in Illinois
Illinois law prohibits disposal of many electronic devices in regular solid waste. Televisions, computers, and certain other electronics must be recycled through certified e-waste programs. Simply putting an old TV on the curb is illegal in Illinois.
We pick up your electronics and deliver them to Illinois-certified e-waste recyclers - keeping hazardous materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium out of the waste stream.
Electronics We Remove
- Flat-screen TVs (any size, including large projection TVs)
- CRT (tube) televisions
- Desktop computers and towers
- Laptop computers
- Printers and scanners
- Monitors and displays
- Stereo equipment and speakers
- Gaming consoles and AV receivers
- Cable boxes, modems, routers
- Phones, tablets, and small electronics (as add-on)
Large TV Removal
Large flat-screen TVs - especially 65” and above - can be surprisingly awkward to carry down stairs. Our crew uses proper TV transport padding and techniques to avoid wall and door damage on the way out.
