Can you work with a pull-down ladder attic?

Yes - pull-down ladder access is one of our most common attic configurations. We bring extra crew so the ladder isn't a bottleneck: one person passes items down, another stacks below, a third moves to the truck. We protect the ladder opening and the hallway floor directly below.

What if my attic has old insulation I'm worried about?

If the insulation is bagged or in batts and you just want it removed, we can do that. Loose blown-in insulation in large quantities requires specialist removal equipment that we don't carry. Asbestos-suspect insulation (common in Chicago homes built before 1985) requires licensed abatement before any disturbance. Text photos to (773) 377-4148 before booking.

How long does a typical attic cleanout take?

A small attic (just a few boxes, holiday decor): 1–2 hours. A medium attic with decades of stored furniture and bins: 3–5 hours. A large attic in an estate cleanout situation: half-day to full day.

Will you damage the attic access opening or the drywall around it?

No. The opening is the most fragile part of an attic job and we protect it. Crews pad the edges of the access, pass items down carefully rather than dropping them, and clean up insulation debris that falls during the work.
